Announcements
Registration:
Registration must be postmarked by August 25, 2008 to be
pre-registered. A fee of $25 will be added after this date.
Onsite registration will require an additional $25 fee. Tuition
and fees will be refunded in full minus a $25 administration fee if
cancellations are made before September 12, 2008. Cancellations
after September 12, 2008 will not receive a refund. Mail
registration forms to the office address: 3701 E. Tudor Road, Suite
208, Anchorage, Alaska 99507

Registration for Workshops:
This is first come first serve due to limited seating. Please mark
the workshop and be sure to include the fee with your registration.
Workshop Registrations will not be accepted without proper payment.
A wait list will be maintained for the workshop. Please inform the
registration desk if you are unable to attend or if (space
available) you would like to register to participate on site.
Lodging:
The Marriott located at 820 W 7th Ave, Anchorage, is offering a room
rate of $115.00 plus tax per night for the conference which is also
valid for three days before and after the conference.
Reservations must be made by August 25th with the hotel at
907-279-8000 to secure this rate. Ask for the Alaska Nurse
Practitioner Conference rate (ANPA is the reservation code).
Parking: Parking is available
one block from the Marriott, at the municipal garage at 6th and H.
To obtain the special conference parking rate of $4.00 per day, have
your parking ticket stamped each day at the Marriott hotel front
desk.
Phone Messages: 279-8000 is
the main switchboard at the Anchorage Marriott Downtown. Please have
callers request the Alaska Nurse Practitioner Conference if it is
necessary to reach you. Messages will be posted on a bulletin board
near the registration desk.
Cell Phones and Beepers:
Ringing cell phones and beepers are disruptive to your colleagues’
educational experience. Please turn off your cell phone/beeper or
place it on vibrate. We appreciate your cooperation and
courtesy.
Security: Please do not leave
any personal belongings unattended in the conference areas. You are
responsible for your belongings. Contact the conference registration
desk for lost or found items.
Continuing Education Credits:
This program is not yet approved for CE credit. You will receive and
must turn in the yellow copy of the Certificate of Attendance for
the contact hours to be valid. Please keep the white copy for
your records. For continuing education purposes, it is
required that you fill out an evaluation form for each lecture you
attend. Objectives will be made available in the lecture. Please
return the form at the end of the conference to a box located by the
check-in desk. Everyone who is registered must sign in daily.
Please notify the registration desk if you are an NP when checking
in. Schedule and speakers may be subject to change.
Conference Evaluation: Your
cooperation in completing and turning in the overall conference
evaluation form will prove invaluable for future course planning.
These evaluations are carefully reviewed and used to implement
improvements. Please complete the “Overall Conference Evaluation
Form” and place in the box at the registration desk at the end of
the conference.
